A love letter.

"Daughter, I know that what I am asking you to do seems big and scary. But I have seen the path ahead and what it will bring you (Ephesians 2:10).

No, it won't be all sunshine in rainbows. In fact, some days are going to be cloaked in darkness that is so excruciating that you're going to allow your precious mind to doubt (John 16:33). But do not be afraid (2 Timothy 1:7).

Instead, know this: I am with you. I am for you. I am here. (Joshua 1:9).

While the path may be dark at times, I am going to bring you great and abundant joy (Psalm 43:4). Like fireworks in the night sky, I will light a spark in you to inspire you and keep you moving forward (Isaiah 40:31).

And so while you can always squeeze My hand when you find yourself afraid of the dark, you can also squeeze My hand in the multicolored light of the fireworks I bring you (Psalm 73:23-24). I love to see your sweet face that I created open up in wonder (Jeremiah 1:5)

So yes, you can ask Me questions. Yes, you can move yourself to tears (Psalm 56:8). But know that I see what is coming, and I have prepared the way for you (1 Corinthians 2:9). Heaven is coming, where that darkness and doubt will be no more (Revelation 21:4).

Just wait. Wait for Me (Psalm 27:13-14). Be strong and courageous as you wait for Me (Deuteronomy 31:6), just like I taught you in your mother's womb (Psalm 139:13). But while you're waiting on Me to move, know that I am still holding your hand (Psalm 23:3), should you ever need to squeeze Mine."

Scripture is a love letter written to us, God's beloved.

In the past year I've learned a lot more about what it means to be healthy. Prior to this time last year, I thought that health was physical

"What then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, then who can be against us?" -Romans 8:31.

Light.

"God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all," (1 John 1:5, esv). I like this one, y'all. I like it because it's short and sweet.
